Resolved: The United States federal government should substantially reduce its military and/or police presence in one or more of the following: South Korea, Japan, Afghanistan, Kuwait, Iraq, Turkey.
An evidence packet pertaining to that resolution will be released no later than May 8, 2010.
The topics for the remaining two debates, one on a current event and one on a pop culture topic, will be released with the evidence packet. The evidence packet will also provide a brief overview of debate.
Decisions will be made by a combination of judge vote and audience vote (by applause). Bring your personality, bring your persuasion skills, and win the audience over!
Whether you are debating or just watching, please RSVP here.
